West Indian Kieron Pollard grabbed the international Cricket headlines when he was paid $2.3 million by Mumbai Indians, one of the franchisees of the IPL. Pollard has played just ten international games and has won an amount even players playing for ten years haven't earned. The Champions trophy held recently held helped Pollard making a mark and now won a bonanza many only dream of. Meanwhile, the IPL franchisees didn't hire even a single Pakistani player.
