Honour for IR & ARR

Just hear this happy news of Ilaiyaraja and A R Rahman getting Padma Bhushan from the Indian government. The two musicians have done a lot in the last two decades and thoroughly deserve the award. They received the Padma Shree award a few years back and now have been honoured with the next higher award. This year is also lucky for others in Tamil cinema,with director Bala bagging the national award for best director. The man got this award for his critically-acclaimed film Naan Kadavul.
