I am upset with the latest episode of another Indian sportsman being ill-treated by the authorities. Abhinav Bindra is the first Indian to win a Olympic gold medal. Is it an ordinary feat for a country deprived of sporting heroes other than Cricket? Now comes the shocking news that the National Rifle Association of India’s (NRAI) hasn't added Bindra's name for the Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi. This means that Bindra has little chance of participating in the World Cup tournaments. Bindra has already criticised the NRAI for not understanding a player's needs. Hope the authorities wake up and do some damage control.
